My opponent made a lot of promises in his campaign.
HIGH TAXES, BIG SPENDING
He promised you he’d “Shrink the government’s role in our everyday life”. (www.jrforhouse.com)
But when he got to Cheyenne, he broke that promise.
While voting to spend your money, he was the deciding vote not to reduce property taxes (SF 110).
Many neighbors are struggling as my opponent also voted against lowering the annual increases on property taxes (HB 124). Strangely, he was a sponsor of that bill! The big government crowd in the State House tries to move the true Republicans to the left. My opponent caved to the pressure.
USING TAXPAYER MONEY FOR LOBBYING
One big reason our state government is so bloated and expensive is that YOU are paying for some lobbyists to influence legislative votes. My opponent voted with the liberals helping kill a bill to stop this. (HB 88) My opponent doesn't want to hear from his constituents. He voted No (HB134) requiring constituent emails to legislators to be delivered unless they posed a verified security threat.
GOVERNMENT HEALTH CARE
There were many expansions to Medicaid brought this session.
For years, conservative legislators held off full Obamacare Medicaid Expansion in Wyoming. Liberal Republicans working with Democrats starting expanding Medicaid piecemeal. My opponent made a campaign promise to “Halt the growth of nationalized health care. Government cradle to grave health care will determine what I do, where I live and drive, my hobbies, what medical treatment I’m eligible for, and every other aspect of my life and yours.” (www.jrforhouse.com)
Yet when he got to the Capitol, he flipped. (HB4, HB 63, SF4)
My opponent voted against hospital price transparency, the bill that would have let you see what procedure costs before you walk through the door. (HB179)
GUNS
My opponent voted against SF 101, a bill to strengthen Wyoming’s Second Amendment Protection Act (SAPA), by adding civil penalties to the current criminal penalties. This bill passed with a supermajority of legislators supporting it.
This vote was working for the governor, who vetoed the bill, and not working for the people.
If you elect me, and I don’t hold to my promises to be a low tax and spend representative, fail you on the Second Amendment, and vote with Democrats to expand Medicaid far beyond original intentions, then I expect you to throw me out of office next election.

Platform Republican Neil Jeske, a dedicated fiscal conservative and candidate for House District 59 (HD59) in Casper, Wyoming, believes it's our patriotic duty to demand lower taxes, a smaller government, and a return to the Constitutionally mandated role of government. In a world where government is bloating and overreaching, Neil is committed to reducing its size, cutting wasteful spending, and ensuring that government and taxes are limited, transparent, and accountable to the people of Wyoming. Government should serve the people, not control them. It's time to take back control so that individuals, families, businesses, and communities can thrive without the burden of unnecessary regulation or government interference.
"I did not come to herd cattle, I came to awaken lions." - Neil Jeske
Neil envisions Wyoming as a place where freedom reigns, where government is limited, accountable, and transparent, and where every person—whether an individual, a family, or a business—has the opportunity to succeed. It's time to stand up for our rights, follow the Constitution, and restore a government that works for us, not against us. To secure Wyoming's future, we need to draw young talent and families by offering job opportunities, affordable living, and strong communities. This will ensure our state remains a place where people can grow and succeed.
